ATROCITY EXHIBITION ;; It's not so much a living hell, it's just a dying fiction.
MUSIC;
Music is indescribably necessary for me to survive. It is the air I breathe and the ground I walk on. Music has its own breathtaking soul, and any time I want I can just sit back and breathe it all in. It is a huge constant in my life, and it is and forever will be the first love of my life.

HEART AND SOUL;
LED ZEPPELIN: "What bothered critics most about Led Zeppelin was the sound, a manifestation of anger and aggression..." Led Zeppelin... How do I even begin to express my love for thee... This band completely describes the majority of my life. I can probably attach at least one memory to every single song they've ever written. They are one of those bands that no matter how many times you hear their cds, or how many times that one song is on repeat, you just never get sick of them. Their songs all seem to tell a story, and I often find myself daydreaming, wondering perhaps who this girl is they once loved? Where they've been, what they've seen. They will never cease to amaze me. Jimmy Page is unbelievable, he paved the way for so much in the rock and roll world. Robert Plant is the perfect portrait of a rock star. His voice is perfect. His love for Lord of the Rings makes me giddy. Their music always brings me to the highest high. They make my soul leap from my body and dance. If I had the chance to see go back and see ANY band live, it would be, without a doubt, Led Zeppelin.

RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS:. I can most definitely say that if it were possible, I'd probably marry the Red Hot Chili Peppers... They are one of the few bands that never fail to make me happy, even if I'm feeling absolutely lower than low. Going to their concert was probably one of the most amazing, life changing experiences that I've been through. It sent shivers down my spin the entire time, and my heart nearly gave out when they played "Under the Bridge." It was a moment I'll never forget. And just seeing them, almost knowing every detail of their lives and what they'd been through after reading the book Scar Tissue--I'd never felt closer to a band. So many amazing memories have happened while listening to them. The summer of 2006 was the best time of my life, and it could purely be described by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It was the summer of love, peace, new friendships, and adventures of epic proportions.

Some OTHER favorites are... Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, TV on the Radio, Ween, Dead Meadow, The Beatles, The Black Keys, Beck, The Doors, Radiohead, Tool, Simon & Garfunkel, The Stooges, Wire, Funkadellic, RJD2, Blockhead, Andrew Bird, Nick Drake.

THE OBVIOUS CHILD;
These are, without a doubt, my favorite song lyrics: The Obvious Child by Simon & Garfunkel.

I'm accustomed to a smooth ride
Or maybe I'm a dog whos lost its bite
I don't expect to be treated like a fool no more
I don't expect to sleep through the night
Some people say a lies a lies a lie
But I say why
Why deny the obvious child?
Why deny the obvious child?

And in remembering a road sign
I am remembering a girl when I was young
And we said these songs are true
These days are ours
These tears are free
And hey
The cross is in the ballpark
The cross is in the ballpark

We had a lot of fun
We had a lot of money
We had a little son and we thought we'd call him Sonny
Sonny gets married and moves away
Sonny has a baby and bills to pay
Sonny gets sunnier
Day by day by day by day

I've been waking up at sunrise
I've been following the light across my room
I watch the night receive the room of my day
Some people say the sky is just the sky
But I say
Why deny the obvious child?
Why deny the obvious child?

Sonny sits by his window and thinks to himself
How its strange that some rooms are like cages
Sonnys yearbook from high school
Is down from the shelf
And he idly thumbs through the pages
Some have died
Some have fled from themselves
Or struggled from here to get there
Sonny wanders beyond his interior walls
Runs his hand through his thinning brown hair

Well I'm accustomed to a smoother ride
Maybe I'm a dog thats lost his bite
I don't expect to be treated like a fool no more
I don't expect to sleep the night
Some people say a lie is just a lie
But I say the cross is in the ballpark
Why deny the obvious child?
